The picture of a child holding a bunny is so cute, but it’s misleading. Children may squeal with delight over a baby chick; they don’t realize that those cute baby animals do not stay that way forever.
Many parents don’t anticipate how much work these adorable, cuddly pets often require. So the pet bunny or chick ends up being forgotten and either dying, going to a shelter, or becoming homeless.
People do not realize that bunnies do not make good pets for children.
The National Concierge Association's 2012 fundraiser and silent auction is Friday April 13th, 2012 and again this year, The fetch Foundation will be supported by these amazing people! Please come and join in the fun!
